Les deux Presidents ont discute longuement de la situation critique qui prevaut a Madagascar et la necessite du retour rapide a l’ordre constutionnel dans le pays, au respect des droits de l’homme ainsi qu’a la dignite humaine.


Notons que le President Jimmy Carter est detenteur du Prix Nobel de la Paix et qu’il fait partie du Groupe des Sages, incluant Kofi Annan, Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, ainsi que d’autres personnalites.

During a lengthy phone conversation Monday night, Madagascar President Marc Ravalomanana and former U.S. President Jimmy Carter discussed the critical situation in Madagascar and the importance of the immediate return of democratic rule and human rights to the country.


President Carter is the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize and is a key member of the esteemed group "The Elders," which includes Kofi Annan, Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, and other distinguished statesmen.
